I See An America - Volume 1 Issue 42 - Health Care Debacle

12/31/09 | by admin [mail] | Categories: Political, Health
It's clear that many of the votes have been bought and paid for by the insurance companies, the existing bill is a travesty that holds little promise for improving health care, and that Ted Kennedy is rolling over in his grave. more »

I See An America - Volume 1 Issue 41 - Fear Mongering In The Absence Of Fact Part Two

08/26/09 | by admin [mail] | Categories: Political, Health
For over the last two decades, Ted Kennedy championed a national health plan to cover everyone. For two decades, the lobbyist won. Will Ted's death be honored with passage of the National Health Reform? Stay tuned.... more »

I webbed the news the last few days, oh boy. It seems Obama is a citizen of Kenya and Death Panels are being formed as we write. more »

I See An America - Volume 1 Issue 39 - Racism In Massachusetts

The point is not to shine further light onto the Boston areas less than spotless reputation when it comes to race relations, but rather to say that while in general I agree with the liberal point of view, there are times where that view just doesn't work in the real world. more »

I See An America - Volume 1 Issue 38 - Conspiracy Theories

Conspiracy theorists must be having a field day. To believe them, man has never walked on the moon, Obama is not a US citizen, and Lee Harvey Oswald didn't shoot JFK. Oh wait a minute, one of these is true! more »

The Republicans seem to be flailing and self-destructing. It truly boggles the mind watching it happen. If I were to use the terminology of the Christian right, I'd say it was even miraculous...the latest C Street Family debacle a case in point. more »

I See An America - Volume 1 Issue 34 - Dick Cheney Sour Grapes

Amazing how one so quiet while in office has now become so vocal. To think this idiot Dick Cheney was a heart beat from the top. While it would be poetic justice to invoke the Patriot Act against him and his public criticisms of the new administration stand on terrorisim and toss him in Guantanamo for a spell, we're glad that President Obama is above such tactics. We're not so sure the prior administration was. more »

I See An America - Volume 1 Issue 32 - The Last Credit Card

I've always thought that America should offer its citizens free medicine, free education, free burial. If you worked a full time job you could afford a place to live, food to eat and a means of transportation. In other words, if you worked at McDonald's full time you should be able to afford a studio apartment, have money for groceries and a used car with necessary insurance. more »

And let's not forget about the DEA who you'd think would be out of work if this ever became law. Not at all. The one thing the DEA proved is that they are excellent at doing undercover and infiltration work. Sounds like a good fit with the real war, The War on Terror (and I don't mean Iraq, or even Afghanistan). more »
