I still can’t get over the fact of our embedded reporters in Iraq—perhaps one of journalism’s all time lows. How can you report the story when it’s obvious you are only being shown a biased, self-serving portion of the story? Embedded means just what it sounds like, the press was in bed with the military while they were reporting on the military war. more »

I see an America that realizes violence on NEWScast has jaded us. While we decry the violence in movies and TV shows, it’s really the abdication of its responsibilities by journalism that has led to the majority of violence in America today. The “if it bleeds, it leads” mentality of broadcast journalism is pathetic bottom feeding, even if this pandering is justified by the ratings. more »
